Smart self-serve padlocks

Using secure time-restricted codes generated by your Lend Engine account, your members can now access items anywhere with our off grid, weatherproof smart padlocks. Perfect for bikes, kayaks, other sports equipment or even for locking a shed.

Only members who have a current, active loan for an item can access the padlock code.

Simply link the padlock to your Lend Engine account, then add the padlock code to an item, and we'll do the rest for you. Unique one-time codes will be sent to your members when they borrow the item, the code only being valid for their borrow period.

We have worked with the padlock supplier to fit a dedicated Lend Engine PCB; these are not Tuya or TTLock smart padlocks.

There is no limit to the number of padlocks your Lend Engine account can support. You can assign one lock to one item, or you could use the same lock code for multiple items; perfect for a situation where they may share a space such as a storage rack, cupboard or room.

The padlocks are battery powered, and use a secure encryption method to determine whether the code is valid. You'll need to connect to the padlock via your phone using WiFi (no app needed) to configure it during setup, but after that, no wifi or internet connection is needed.
