Software for your Repair Organisation

Whether you run a repair café, or a repair department within a larger organisation, we have a solution for you.

The Lend Engine is web based software to help you manage the flow of repairs through your organisation, from first request through to successful closure, helping with communication to your team and with the item owner. Structured data gives you the ability to report on progress and community impact, as well as helping with legislative record keeping (eg test reports).

Capture requests with a web form

Your community can raise a repair request via a simple form online, using their phone or a tablet you have at an event.

Share progress with item owners

Your team can email directly from the repair within Lend Engine, keeping the repair item owner up to date. Notes are added to the repair, for the record.

Structure and schedule the repair process

Using statuses and planned dates, you can see what's in progress, what's scheduled, what's overdue, or what's on hold perhaps waiting for spare parts to arrive.

Report on outcomes

Using a standards-compliant "outcome" on each repair, your repair cafe can build up data on the impact you are making with repairs.

Track time and costs

Get insight on how much time and money your repairs are costing, with the easy-to use time + cost features. Each time a repairer works on an item, they add any relevant expenditure and time taken.

Save photos, files and test reports

Photos are great for people to record a problem or damage, and for the repairer to record work done. If your organisation needs to store records of maintenance or tests completed, you can upload them to the repair record in Lend Engine for future safe keeping.

Manage a team of repairers

The ability to assign a repair to a team member makes it easy to manage high volumes of work. Repairers will get automatic emails notifying them of repairs, and can access a separate view of work to do.
